Where does this information come from?

Recall information is supplied by Transport Canada's recall database. After submitting your request, given the make, model and year, you will be presented with a page containing all the recalls for this vehicle, if any exists. You may then click the recall number of your choice to have the information display on your screen.

Once you have your vehicle recall information compare it to the work you have had done through your service records. If you are not the original owner and you do not see the recall work within your service records you may check with your dealership to inquire about the recall work.

To search for a dealer to inquire about a vehicle’s recall work use the “Locate a Dealer” search on the left side of this page (If you are a new customer to a dealership you will need the vehicle VIN #).
